Mt. Maculot | Cuenca, Batangas

04:19:00

I've always dreamed of climbing the Mt. maculot because of the pictures that i've seen on Instagram and blogs. A very picturesque view of Taal Volcano surrounded by the sea.
Mt. Macolod is the original name of the mountain but the mountaineers prefer to called it as Maculot. Mount Macolod is a mountain located in the town of Cuenca in Batangas province, in the Philippines. This mountain is popular among mountain climbers and campers; it is the major tourist attraction of the municipality.

MT. MACULOT, BATANGAS
The clouds are shady and it's definitely going to rain. I'd invite our friends to join us on our climb but they insist, the only person who joined is my high school bestfriend. We rode a bus at Jam Liner, cubao the bus is still waiting for passengers we left manila at 6:45AM. I love our conversation with my bestfriend it's been 4 yrs since the last time we see each other again. The roadtrip is full of reminisce memories of high school days, we keep on laughing and exchanging stories of our lives. It's 9:00AM when we arrived at Cuenca, Batangas luckily we met the tricycle driver that drove us to karinderia to bought our packed lunch and to the registration. The fee is Php 20.00/person. We wait for our tour guide and it is required to avail one for 5 persons. The tricycle trip is about 15mins from the registration. We started our trek at 9:30AM and i'm so happy because the weather is shady. You'll walk to the upward street going to the jump off point.
And the adventures begin ...
But first let me take a selfie but thank you for photobombing guys. :)
Rock Formation along our way, the tour guide says that it is serves as the path way going the river when raining.
Makes me appreciate more the beauty of nature.
with my main chick
second to the last stop over in Rockies.
Heart beating so fast, sweating so hard, fainting.
We're really in a hurry because the rain starts pouring down and the thick fog is blocking our view.
The struggle is real. Dare devil moves just to take a picture on that famous rock. (Kapit Mabuti! Ingat!)
Fog oh why?
After 10 minutes of raining and thick fog that blocks our view. We wait for it to stop and yes i am very happy to see this epic view. Mission Accomplished.
I woke up like this. #GoProSelfie
Thanks to our tour guide who take us to the other side of the rockies.
cheers to more adventures with this girl.
Let's get lost.

You get a strange feeling when you leave a place, you'll not only miss the beauty of it. But you miss the people you are with this time and place because you'll never know when will it happen again. Thank you for being part of my adrenaline adventures, i'll treasure it in my heart. I'm the girl who has a strong desire to get to the places i've never seen before because for me experience is more important than material things.
