Pico de Loro Dayhike - conquering the great Monolith

02:31:00

Mt Palay Palay or more popularly known as Mt Pico de Loro is one of the esteemed outdoor destination near Metro Manila. So, this is my second climb in Pico de Loro with my workmates in Manila Hotel. I joined the climb because i wasn't able to climb up to the great monolith in my 1st climb last year. For me, Pico de Loro was very good for the beginners who want to experience mountain climbing. The trail was easy and it was budget friendly.

MT. PICO DE LORO & THE GREAT MONOLITH
The challenge of scaling the rock monolith is death defying and is said to only draw the daredevils and the-not-so faint hearted ones, more so for the 2nd camping site is a place shrouded in bamboo’s near the ridges of the mountain summit, offering a sweeping panorama of the surrounding terrain of forest, coves and rolling hills.
Groupies before the start of the trail.
Pico de Loro's Summit facing the monolith.
So there's the three of us feeling happy because we've already reach the summit.
After an exhausting climb to summit.
Hello, Monolith. It's just the five of us who climb the monolith.
The epic jump shot because we've reach our goal.
Pausing our stress for awhile.
