Batong Malunhaw Beach Resort: Budget friendly resort to stay in alegria, cebu

Batong Malunhaw means "green stone" in Cebuano languange. It is a local government operated resort in Sangi, Alegria in Cebu province. The area is filled with green plants and trees especially behind the accommodation where you can go strolling or walking. It takes about 3-4 hours depends on the traffic to get to the resort from Cebu city town proper.
WHAT TO DO IN BATONG MALUNHAW?
The facilities are basic but good enough for barkadas or family who wants to go out of town. Their rooms has no television, but has airconditioned. You can enjoy swimming (5-6ft deep), strolling, walking, take pictures along the beach, watch sunset, relax and have fun. They also have delicious food to try on their menu and it is very affordable. The resort is also near the famous Kawasan Falls just 15 minutes away located in the neighboring Badian, town you can either rent a habal-habal or tricycle to get there. (Fare cost 100-200 depends on your haggling skills).
My cebu trip was so priceless because my boyfriend was the one who motivates me to find cheap hotels/budget resort but has a unique facilities/landscape. I found this resort while searching on google. I was losing hope to find a resort near kawasan falls but my boyfriend told me to not give up on things just because it's hard. Cebu was one of my dream destination because of it's beautiful falls and beaches, I know my cebu itinerary doesn't happen according to all my plans but i am so thankful to be here with JM.
HOW TO GET THERE:
From Manila (45mins)
- Ride a plane via CebuPac, Airasia, Pal etc. to Mactan
- Ride a habal habal or taxi to Cebu South Bus Terminal
From Cebu Town Proper (3-4hours)
- Ride a Bus at South Bus Terminal bound to Oslob
- Tell the conductor to drop you off to Alegria
- Ride a tricycle to Batong Malunhaw
From Kawasan Falls (15minutes)
- Ride a tricycle or habal habal to Batong Malunhaw

- Php 80.00 / tricycle from Kawasan falls to resort
- Php 40.00 / Mango Shake
- Php 100.00 / Red Horse
