Who needs a quick hike and not too far away from metro manila? Maybe this is the place for you. Treasure Mountain is situated in Tanay, Rizal. You can get on top of it for 30 minutes of walking, easy right? The view on top is breathtaking feels like you own the place. We didn't get a chance to see the sea of clouds because we arrived in Tanay at 8am, we only witness the fog. The cold breeze makes me wanna stay longer while looking at the mountains. Sometimes you just have to be on the place where no social media exist, when all you have to do is relax and free your mind. I also like the "Duyan" concept here, it's so cool.
HOW TO GO THERE?
- From Starmall Shaw Blvd, ride a van/fx going to Tanay
- Drop off at tanay terminal, then ride a tricycle to treasure mountain

WHAT TO EXPECT?
- Don't expect too much, the hike is so easy. No tour guide needed you just have to walk. There are only four duyans, you have to wait if there's a lot of people using it for taking photos.
- Sari sari store is at the registration area (expensive price)
- Nothing much to do but to relax and enjoy the view.
