"It was her chaos that made her beautiful"
the beauty of this crater is situated near the tri-point of the provinces of Zambales, Tarlac and Pampanga. Mt. Pinatubo had its massive erruption in 1991. The catastrophe was so enormous that volcanic ashes filled the atmosphere affecting even the remotest corners of the earth. Thousands of people lost their homes and livelihood as the aftermath was even more devastating. Even though Mt. Pinatubo may have brought pain in so many people more than two decades ago, it is now a proof that there's a rainbow always after the rain. Look at the mesmerizing beauty of this volcano, I can't stop staring at it.

Once you've done with the registration, you'll ride a 4x4 vehicle going to the starting point of the trek. This part has been one of the highlights of your trip to Mt. Pinatubo. One 4x4 is good for 5 persons. The rocky and bumpy ride will took 1 and a half hour to get there. If you want to have a stopover just approached the driver, don't worry the locals are so friendly.

After the bumpy ride going to the starting point, you'll need to walk for almost 2 hours to reach the crater. We experience both hot and rainy trek because the weather is not that good. I was so amazed with the rock formations surrounded with lush green mosses. Make sure to bring water because it'll make you exhausted and drained. What I like about the trek is the river crossing walks, the scenic view and the friends with you along the way.

you'll be rewarded by the mesmerizing beauty of Mount Pinatubo, i am so overwhelmed with joy when i finally see it through my own eyes. It was always my dream to hike this mountain. I'm so speechless. I sit at the deck view to just stare and feel this moment of fulfillment. Swimming at the lake is strictly prohibited because the water contains chemical that can harm your skin.
